Unwritten Operas

In March 2020, at the beginning of lockdown, I started making weekly videos to share with family and friends: speculative scenes from books I’d read that I’d always wanted to “do something” with. This turned into “Unwritten Operas,” a twelve-part series of amateur literary analysis, dramatic readings, and multi-tracked electro-vocal speculation.

Each video begins with a brief gloss on the text, and then moves into a musical exploration of a live reading. Enjoy these mementos of creative escapism in frightening times…
